What is the closest airport?
Both Charlotte Douglas International Airport and Concord-Padgett Regional Airport are 1 hour from the venue. The Charlotte airport has many airline options, including American Airlines, Delta, Frontier, Southwest, Spirit, Sun Country, United, and others!
What is the easiest way to get around?
By car! We understand that renting a car can be expensive, the app Turo is another affordable way to book car rentals. Please let us know if you will need assistance with transportation.

What should I wear?
Dressy casual/semi-formal attire is recommended, but we want you to feel comfortable for our big day.

Primarily outdoors. Dinner and dancing will be under a tent outdoors. Bathrooms are located in doors.
What time should I arrive for the ceremony?
We ask that our guests are seated 15 minutes before our ceremony begins.

Plus-one’s are included on your RSVP. Please do not bring a plus-one that is not included in your RSVP.
Can I bring my children?
We would appreciate a child-free evening. Children are included on your RSVP, if your child is not listed please do not bring them. If you have any concerns, please discuss directly with us!

Please let Heather know! We will coordinate with our caterer to offer options that fit your allergy and dietary needs.
Will a shuttle be provided?
We are working on coordinating transportation to and from the wedding venue. Please let us know if that is something you’d be interested in and check back regularly for more information.
Is everything in the same location?
Yes, the entire event will be held at 1812 Hitching Post.
Is there parking at the venue?
Yes, parking is free at the venue. You may leave your car there overnight and pick it up early the next morning.
Is it okay to take pictures on our phones during the wedding?
We ask that you please refrain from taking pictures during the ceremony. A professional photographer will be documenting our evening, please be respectful of their work! You may take your own pictures the rest of the night, but understand if we are unavailable to snap a picture with you throughout the evening.
