It's fitting that in this photo of our proposal the glow of the sun's rays can be seen breaking through the clouds and streaming down on top of us at the exact moment Kelsi's knee hit the ground. All of you who have been around the two of us in the years we've been together have most likely heard the story we often tell about the moment we met.

From Heather's perspective, it was a scene out of a fairy tale. Among the food trucks parked outside of a small bar in Orlando, walked in a stranger talking on her cell phone, too concentrated on finding her group of friends to notice she'd been spotted. Heather swears the moment she laid eyes on Kelsi it was as if the rest of the world stopped and a bright yellow glow illuminated from Kelsi's silhouette. From that moment on, Heather was all in.

From Kelsi's perspective, it was more of a meet-cute straight out of your favorite 2000's rom-com. Kelsi wasn't even supposed to be at that bar that night. She was only able to make it after a last-minute, unexpected change in her work schedule. Upon arriving, Kelsi was unaware she had attracted a secret admirer. However, it didn't take long for Heather to make her mark on Kelsi, too. Was it Heather's beauty and charm or her persistent claim that she was a professional pool player despite not hitting one ball into a pocket? We may never know. But what we do know, is from that moment on, Kelsi was also all in.

Since that fateful Florida night, Heather and Kelsi have been inseparable. Moving in together, blending their families (Emma and Al are practically biological sisters at this point), and heading across the country together to start a new adventure on the West Coast. It's been a whirlwind past few years but all along the way that glow, be it a wave of strong emotions from Heather the night the two met or a real gleam of sunshine at the exact moment Kelsi proposed, has followed them.

Now, we want that glow to spread, to envelop all of you who we so love and cherish, so that we all may share in the joy and magic of our beautiful relationship and walk together, family and friends, into a future filled with light, love and a bit of that mystical yellow glow.
