The day we met, at Tyler & Lindsey Wischnefski's first annual backyard X-games. Being one of the tallest people there, naturally Connor is front and center in the group photo.

Our 3rd date, when Connor asked Heather to be his girlfriend. One week later, for our 4th date, he took her to his family reunion where she got to meet the entire Last clan.

We bonded over our love of craft beer,

We got engaged on May 30th, 2024. Connor asked Heather to marry him at home after they got back from a date night. He put all of the post-it notes that she had written to him under the covers on their bed, with a page from our to-do list notepad that had a big check box with "get engaged" on it. When she pulled the covers back to go to bed she found it, and when she turned around he was on one knee with the ring behind her.
