Hunter & Heaven met online via Hinge (a dating app) in the PEAK of COVID-19 in May 2020. Heaven was just finishing up Physican Assistant school and looking for well let's be honest, a husband. Hunter had just moved to PA a few months prior and was ready to move back to NC until he met Heaven. Their first date was watching a movie (so cliche, we know) and from that day on they were inseparable. They officially started dating on June 14th, 2020.

Hunter knew right away that he wanted to marry Heaven. He was planning on proposing for several months and worked really hard to save up for the ring Heaven wanted (he had specific instructions on the ring per Heaven because she wanted a ring just like her mom's). He bought the ring and was bringing it around to family functions and showing everybody even with Heaven in the next room! He was SO excited to propose he decided to be spontaneous on a cold October morning. He took Heaven out to watch the sunrise except they couldn't see it..too much fog. He brought coffee & apple fritters. Hunter set up a tripod and acted like he was taking pictures when he dropped down on one knee. Heaven said yes immediately!!! Hunter came prepared with celebratory mimosas!💍🥂❤️
