Their love story began at Winter Camp in 2020 at Lake Geneva. Heidi a native to rural Pennsylvania and Brandon, from a small town in Ohio, met in Wisconsin during Winter camp. When they first met they struck up a conversation that lasted hours

Overtime, they adventured to 10 states, Canada, and multiple church camps together. They had the amazing experience to be a part of the Challenger program where it was a week long backpacking trip in central California.

To solidify their relationship, Brandon proposed to Heidi on top of the world’s largest flattop mountain, Grand Mesa in Colorado. To keep the proposal a secret, Brandon hid the ring inside his boot until the sun began to set on the mountain top, where he then popped the question. After their wedding, they hope to continue adventuring across the United States and volunteering at Youth Camps
