I guess you could say it was love at first swipe! Dolan and I matched on Tinder in September 2020 ten days after he moved to Georgia. He asked me to dinner after a few weeks of messaging back and forth. After claiming in his bio he was looking for friends in a new city, I really did not know if this implied it was a date, but hey, I was hoping for a free meal. After hanging out a few times, I finally asked what the heck was going on, and he said I thought you were my girlfriend (smh). I guess after that you can say the rest is history! All joking aside, the past 4 years have been some of the best of my life. We have taken many trips and seen each other accomplish so much. We have (almost) survived Genevieve’s puppy stage, even tho many books and tv remotes did not. In March 2024, I discovered many of my friends and family are very good at lying when he proposed at Frogtown Vineyards. I was under the impression we were meeting friends for a winery day, but Dolan had bigger plans. Wedding planning has been so fun, and we cannot wait to celebrate with all of you!

Heidi’s Version

It was September 2020. The middle of an unprecedented global pandemic, and I had just moved to a new city where I knew literally no one. So I turned to the internet. I started out just looking for some new friends and found a wife instead!&nbsp;To this day, I couldn’t tell you why she swiped right AND agreed to go out with me after being assured it would be rock bottom (prophetic, no?), but thank God she did because the last few years have been filled with a lifetime of memories and love, which we are so excited to share with you all in May!

Amicalola Falls is 729-foot waterfall on Amicalola Creek in Dawsonville, GA. It is the highest waterfall in Georgia and is considered to be one of the Seven Natural Wonders of Georgia. This is located in Heidi’s hometown!
