https://legacyhillfarm.com/ Our ceremony will be unplugged, so please make sure to silence and put away phones when you take your seats. Although we love your little ones, due to a limit on the number of guests allowed and alcohol being served, we are respectfully requesting no children under the age of 18 at the reception (exception for infants). The bar will have some options for drinks on us but they will also have other options for purchase if you'd like. The bar is cashless and only accepts card payments. Our venue is on a farm so please plan accordingly for weather. We do have indoor areas in case of rain but there may be some going in between buildings. You may want sunglasses, an umbrella or a light jacket. Most of the area is paved but if you plan on wearing heels, you might want to bring a backup pair of shoes. When you arrive there will be parking attendants to direct you where to park. Upon your arrival, you can enjoy the fountain courtyard, barn loft, and restrooms. The fountain courtyard includes benches and a fountain for guests to enjoy as they gather. The restrooms are located in the lower level of the Granary. The restrooms are heated and air conditioned. There are paved walking paths for wheelchairs or strollers.

Treasure Island does not offer block reservations but it is a 7 minute drive from our venue. The resort features Minnesota’s second-largest hotel, a marina, RV park and campground and various family-friendly amenities.They also offer childcare for 2-12 years old. There is tons of stuff to do if you'd like to make a weekend out of it!

Once upon a time, in a realm of Coors Lights and lively bar chatter, an unsuspecting love story began to brew. For years, she was the here-for-business bartender, and Justin, the handsome patron who frequented her establishment. She certainly noticed him – an undeniable attraction was there. However, the company he often kept led her to playfully (and privately) categorize him as a "douche-bag, but a nice enough one that she didn't dislike him." Little did either of them know what fate had in store, or that beneath his initial impression was a heart of gold, ready for her particular brand of charm.After months of what she considered subtle flirtation from her side of the bar (which Justin likely registered as delightfully direct), the universe finally nudged them together. On January 9th, 2024, Justin took the leap and asked her out. Their first official date unfolded on January 14th at the local hotspot, Cowboy Jack's in Apple Valley. She walked in with the casual expectation of a fun fling but walked out genuinely surprised and utterly charmed by how incredibly nice he was.Life, with its penchant for the unexpected, soon presented a unique challenge: a few weeks of house arrest for her. But Justin, ever the burgeoning hero of this tale, wasn't deterred. He visited her on January 20th, bringing with him an adventurous spirit. His reward for this gallantry? Breakfast in bed, and, in a moment of pure, playful spontaneity, a frozen waffle launched at his head (a great story). His good-natured reaction was perhaps the first sign that he was truly something special.They celebrated their first Valentine's Day together in the comfort of home, proving that grand romantic gestures weren't necessary when the company was just right. The bond deepened, and on February 21st, Justin met Josh, the boys' father, successfully navigating that crucial introduction.A true test of trust (or perhaps a testament to Justin's burgeoning faith in her) arrived on February 23rd. As he departed for a trip to Mexico, he left her his house key. This gesture of confidence was met with a curious spirit; she and her friend Tiana promptly decided a sleepover at his place was in order. Their explorations led them to discover a pair of rollerblades, resulting in some hilarious tumbles on his stairs and driveway. Justin returned on February 28th, to a house still intact and a girlfriend with a few new stories to tell.As summer bloomed, August 2024 saw her embark on a month-long adventure to Chicago. Justin, already proving himself to be an incredibly supportive partner, didn't just send his well wishes. He made the journey to visit her multiple times, even bringing the boys along for a series of fun-filled urban adventures. It was amidst the bustling city and shared experiences that their connection solidified even further.It felt like a natural progression when, in September, Justin officially asked her to move in with him, creating their shared haven.The autumn leaves brought with them another exciting chapter. On October 9th, they set off for Destin, Florida, eagerly anticipating Luke Combs' Bootlegger's Bonfire, with a delightful overnight stop in Nashville to kick off the fun. The weekend of October 10th in Destin was picture-perfect – sun-drenched days, sandy toes, and the soundtrack of their favorite country tunes.Then, on a perfect Sunday evening, October 13th, with the moonlight painting a silver path across the ocean and the gentle rhythm of the waves as their backdrop, Justin asked the most important question of their lives. On that beautiful beach, he asked her to marry him. Through happy tears and a heart bursting with joy, she enthusiastically said yes!From a handsome stranger at a bar, initially wrapped in a humorous misconception, to the man she would soon call her husband, their journey has been a delightful tapestry of laughter, a few literal stumbles, and an abundance of ever-growing love. They eagerly anticipate embarking on this next grand adventure together and are overjoyed to celebrate their story with all their loved ones.

Our venue is located on a farm. There will be parking attendants that will assist you with parking. Much of the day will be indoors but please plan accordingly for weather.
