Our StoryLike all great modern love stories, ours began with… a swipe.A rare one for Helen (the dating apps were gathering dust).A more committed pastime for Rich (he likes to call it research…!) We met at Scott’s.Helen walked in, half-expecting to turn on her heel.Rich stood up — tall, handsome and with questionable footwear.He apologised for such footwear. Then smiled.And just like that, something shifted. Dinner turned into connection.The wine was good.The conversation better.And at the end of the night, Helen (in a surprising plot twist) kissed him first.A bold lunge.Met with a gentle touch.And a flutter in her belly she hadn’t felt in years. We fell — fast, deep, gloriously hard.Love, laughter, and then… Teddy.A beautiful surprise who didn’t so much enter as arrive. Together, we blended five children, two homes, one bonkers schedule,and a wild amount of logistical nightmaresThere were tears (mainly over who sat where at dinner),deep breaths, deeper love, and a million small moments: sunsets in Sardinia, gelato in Sicily,cliff walks in Portugal, stillness in the Maldives,and magic in the New Forest —This is us.Messy, joyful, slightly sleep-deprived.A family made from love, surprise, and a lot of humour.We can’t wait to celebrate the next chapter with you.Come for the vows. We are able to accommodate on site for a max of 74 people, - If you would prefer to stay offsite, (perhaps if wanting to elongate holiday and bring kids) because venue is no children we listed a few places in Perugia and around the venue that look great. Travel:- If you aren't staying at the venue, we suggest staying in Perugia. The city is medieval and is filled with shops, restaurants, and cafes.-You can fly into Rome or Florence and take the train to Perugia or rent a car. There will be many an opportunity to get stuck into some activities throughout your stay. Borgo Colognola will be hosting wine tasting and vineyard tours, truffle hunting and olive picking and olive oil tastings.
