Helena and Nick met on Hinge, a dating app.

After Helena messaged Nick first asking about his time in the teaching profession he promptly asked her out for drinks.

She ghosted him.

Not on purpose though, she was just very preoccupied with house hunting... it's funny since he is a realtor. A very persistent one at that because he decided to message her about drinks again! After a huge apology she agreed to drinks and they planned to go to a local place called The Stubborn Mule. The evening of the date came... and Helena did not feel like going anywhere...

she almost canceled

until her roommate (and now bridesmaid) Andrea encouraged her to go saying,

"maybe it will be the best date ever!"

And it was, clearly, because they are getting married!

Since that evening in the streets of Downtown Orlando, Helena and Nick have been absolutely inseparable.
