Our story is not necessarily one you will find in fairy tales. Its not necessarily the story we'd hope to tell our grandkids either, but it is our story and we wouldn't change it. We met on a lovely app called Tinder. I had been unsuccessfully dating for well over a year, and "Mikey" had just gotten out of a long term relationship. Neither of us was looking for anything serious. I even told my friend Tia at the time, that I would never in a million years be in a relationship with Mikey, but then Covid... you couldn't go anywhere, you couldn't meet new people, so we both kind of just stuck with each other to pass the time. Mikey will say that he knew I was the one during a random quarantine evening that we decided to watch Tiger King on the couch. He says we owe our relationship to Joe Exotic (umm no). For me, I knew I met my person one "Magical" evening that Mikey decided, since we can't go to Disney World ( my favorite place), that he would set up a virtual Disney Date and we watched videos of the rides and fireworks on TV. And from that point forward we were basically inseparable. So yea like I said, maybe not the greatest love story of all time, but it is our great love story.
