Helena and Max first met during a Taco Tour on Cinco de Mayo in May 2019 through mutual friends. Although this was a very memorable moment for Max, Helena had a few too many margaritas and the memory was a little fuzzy (oopsie).
Not long after, Helena and Max started to bug their mutual friends about each other (driving them just a little crazy). Finally, after a few months of bothering their friends (sorry guys) Helena and Max started their story together.
They quickly realized that they were more alike then they expected and had a passion for so many of the same things including hiking, exercising, travelling, drinking beer, and their love for their dogs. Leading them to the biggest hurdle to overcome. Will their dogs get along? What if they don't?
Their relationship of two quickly became a family of four. Together the four of them began to take their shared love of adventure and start making memories together.
Max and Helena knew early on that they had met the one they would spend forever with.
Max proposed on a brisk fall evening near Strawberry Banke in Portsmouth, NH. The sun was setting and a photographer was waiting with a flower arch and champagne ready at the end of a pier. Helena was under the impression they were looking for one of their friends in the park to meet up for dinner. Max guided Helena towards the pier where she soon realized what was about to happen.
To top off the perfect night, Max had arranged for their close friends and family to celebrate at a nearby brewery. It truly was more beautiful than she could have ever imagined.
Each one of you has been such an important part to our relationship. We can't wait to celebrate with you!
