They say a photograph is an opportunity to keep a moment forever, but for Helene and Jonathan a photograph was the beginning of their forever.

When Jonathan saw Helene in the photo of a mutual friend, he couldn’t help to ask about her. Unbeknownst to Jonathan, Helene had recently took a leap of faith moving to Virginia in hopes of finding employment but the Lord had other plans for the two.

With permission, Helene’s number was shared with Jonathan. After receiving the warning that he may take some time before he put the number to use, minutes later he messaged her. The message turned into long phone calls, the long phone calls turned into dates, and the dates turned into will you marry me.
