<p>Helene-Rose and Preston first met at age twelve in middle school after Preston’s family moved to Birmingham, Alabama. Over the years, they grew close and reconnected during the summer before their junior year of high school. On the first day of that year, Preston asked Helene-Rose to be his girlfriend. They later moved to Auburn University together, where they adopted a dog named Dallas. After graduating in 2024, they relocated to Dallas, Texas, where Preston proposed to Helene-Rose in December at the Dallas Arboretum, and they added Aubie, their cat, to their growing family. Their love story brings them back to Birmingham, Alabama, where they are looking forward to sharing their special day with everyone.</p>
