All Saints’ Church, Old Burghclere, RG20 9NJ
CARS
The M4 has closures between the 28th June and 1st July, in both directions and therefore you may have to come the cross country route.
The Church is within the grounds of Old Burghclere Manor and is accessible on foot along the Manor’s private drive. You are not allowed to park on the drive.
Old Burghclere Manor is entirely surrounded by Highclere Estate land and we have secured permission from the Earl of Carnarvon to park up a very limited number of cars in the yard at Manor Farm, plus lager minibuses. This is a working farmyard so there will be large agricultural vehicles in evidence.
South of the drive entrance is a tempting looking road. Do not be tempted to park here; it is a private estate road and provides access for farm vehicles to another yard and fields to the south. Do not attempt to park on the side of the Sydmonton road, which is narrow and not exactly safe.
Because of the limited parking, we have arranged for minibuses to collect those arriving by train from Newbury station (details follow) and to shuttle guests between Woodham House and the Church, which is a distance of about 1.5 miles. For those arriving by car, please park at Woodham House a take a minibus.

Parking at Woodham House will be in one of two locations and there will be someone there to direct you.
Minibuses will pick you up on the lane, opposite the house entrance.
ARRIVING BY RAIL
Gate to Church for Taxi drop off

If you are arriving by rail, you will find the minibuses waiting on the south side of the station. The last minibus will depart at 1045, immediately after the arrival of the 0932 from London Paddington. If you miss the last minibus, there are usually plenty of taxis available. The distance to the Church is seven miles and the journey time is fifteen minutes.
Minibuses will be provided to return you to the station, after Charles and Henri have departed.
LEAVING THE CHURCH
At the end of the Service, Charles and Henri will proceed down the aisle and out through the West door, where they will have a very quick photography session, à deux.
Parents and family will not be following the Bride and Groom down the aisle, but will, with the rest of the congregation, leave through the North door and take up positions, beyond the churchyard, on either side of the drive, ready with rose petal confetti.
Please stick to the cut grass pathways in the churchyard.
Minibuses will then shuttle guests back to Woodham House.
