As many of you may know our journey began when we met at freshman orientation at Mercyhurst University. We were required to do a service project, and got put in the same group. We walked in the room, sat next to each other and that was it.

We had an amazing time spending all of college together. Afterwards Grant pursued his dream of playing hockey. While Hilary started her career in the fashion industry.

Later on Grant joined Hilary in Charlotte, NC. Charlotte holds a very special place in our hearts, and is where we got engaged.

April 26th 2017 was a typical Wednesday night. After work we headed to the yoga studio, when we got home we were going about our typical night. Until, Hilary walked in the living room and Grant was holding Lucy (our cat) and she had the most beautiful diamond ring on her collar.

Fast forward to 2018, we moved back north, to Pittsburgh, PA. This is where we found the most beautiful location to celebrate officially becoming Mr. & Mrs. Gettinger with you!
