We met in April 2018 while attending a birthday party for kids of our mutual friends. We had both recently relocated back to Massachusetts - Jon from California and Hilary from Colorado. After seeing each other again at our friends' house a few weeks later, Jon asked Hilary on their first solo date. We met up at a pop-up brewery and shared a plate of chicken and waffles. We spent the next several weeks getting to know each other and going on dates. We discovered we both enjoy hiking, dogs, sporting events, and so much more! It didn't take long for us to fall in love and start dreaming of a life together. We adopted our first dog, Bentley, to celebrate our one year anniversary in May of 2019. We quickly knew he needed a yard and bought our home in December of 2019. During the pandemic we realized Bentley needed a friend and adopted him a sibling, Fitz, in March of 2021. Our family and our life together has been growing steadily since we met in 2018 and we couldn't be more excited to be engaged and planning for the next chapter!
