Our Wedding

From Teammates to Soul Mates

Chris and Hillary met in 2020 while working remotely for the same company during the pandemic. Over the next two years they had met in person a few times at various work events. Eventually they were put on the same team which led to them becoming casual friends. In March 2022, they had to return to the office - which Hillary didn't mind because she had developed a crush on Chris. They soon discovered that they were both interviewing for the same job at another company. Hillary ended up getting the job, but Chris didn't mind. Since they would no longer be working at the same company, Chris felt the time was right to ask her on a date. Chris took the initiative and planned their first date . That night they had a four hour dinner where they laughed, shared stories, and saw how truly compatible they were. They continued dating over the next year and a half, splitting their time between Astoria, Queens and the Upper East Side of Manhattan. They would take the ferry back and forth to each other multiple times a week. They ultimately moved to a new apartment in Astoria together in 2023, where they currently live with their two cats; Luna and Sunny. On July 26, 2025 Chris planned what Hillary thought was just a date night on the Upper East Side. Little did she know, they would walk along the promenade after a nostalgic ferry ride, that this is where he would get down on one knee and ask her to marry him. She said yes, and it was the easiest decision of her life.

Getting To Paros

To get to the island of Paros you can either take a flight or ferry from Athens.Flights are about 40 minutes from Athens, the Paros airport code is PAS.The ferry is a great affordable option, and will take between 3 - 5 hours (depending on the ferry). You can find ferry information and book tickets using <a href="https://www.ferryhopper.com/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">https://www.ferryhopper.com/</a> If feasible, we recommend that our guests arrive to Paros by Thursday August 6th. This will create a buffer just in case there are any flight/ferry delays. That evening we are hosting a welcome party for our guests, should you choose to attend.

Naoussa is a picturesque, cosmopolitan fishing village on the northern coast of Paros, Greece. It's known for its beautiful harbor, whitewashed buildings, winding alleyways, and vibrant scene. It has excellent seafood tavernas, chic bars, and boutiques, offering a trendy yet traditional Greek island experience. Paros is especially lively at night, and serves as a hub for exploring nearby beaches. It is also a short commute to our wedding venue, and transportation will be organized from hotels in this town. If you choose to stay in another area of Paros, we support your decision. Please keep in mind that wedding transportation will be coordinated from the Naoussa hotels.

GETTING AROUND IN PAROS

Uber is not as reliable on Paros, we recommend downloading the <a href="www.imove.app" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">iMove </a>app specific to Greece, which will also work in Athens and across other Greek islands. Beaches

- Agioi Anargyroi: simple beach east of Naoussa nearby the town and walking distance, sun beds available- Piperi Beach: simple beach west of Naoussa, also close to town and walking distance, no sun beds here- Kolympetheres Beach: One of the most famous and unique beaches on the island, you can take a quick 10 minute water taxi there from the port of Naoussa. Smooth granite rock formations create natural little coves. There are beach chairs and umbrellas as well as several tavernas nearby with gorgeous views of the water that serve fresh seafood.⁃ Cabana Beach Bar: Amazing beach club close to Parikia that is relaxing with good music during the day, sometimes they have live DJs later on in the day/going into the night.⁃ Santa Maria beach: long sandy beach known for water sports; Vibrant beach bars offering cocktails &amp; lounge music; 10 minute drive from Naoussa⁃ Golden Beach: One of the longest beachest in Paros, famous for fine Golden sand and crystal clear waters; Beach bars and surrounded by luxury resorts; located on south east coast of Paros⁃ Crios Beach Bar: good beach club like Cabana in a similar area near Parikia⁃ Monastiri Beach: Located in Paros Park, offering a unique nature reserve setting; Nearby hiking trails lead to breathtaking panoramic views; Only a 15 minute drive from Naoussa- Pounda Beach: Party beach with younger crowd on south east coast of ParosFaragas Beach: Secluded bay with turquoise waters and soft sand located on southwest coast of Paros; Upscale atmosphere with a high-end beach bar &amp; luxury sunbeds⁃ SeaRocks Paros: restaurant on the beach on east coast of island
