It was a cool breezy tucson eve. The year: 2012 and setting: fox and hound. Cory was out with the boys being all cool and Hillary was looking fly waiting tables. Almost immediately, Cory locked eyes with Hillary and gave her.. you know.. "the look". but, Hillary was quick to deflect and turn cheek. Ego bent, but not down for the count, Cory was determined to get those digits.

After Hillarys shift, she joined Cory’s friends for an epic game of beer pong. After showing off his sweet skills, Cory saw an opportunity to make his move on the cute (then) brunette across the table. The signals were sent, and the mood felt right. Cory was confident. At first, the conversation went well. They both knew they felt some type of way, however, in the end, Cory’s efforts were to no avail. Knowing she had the upper hand, hillary walked away victorious that night. Defeated, Cory retreated to live another day...

It wasn't until months later that Hillary gave in to Cory’s valiant attempts. The two had a brief but fun dating stent, to which life happened and whisked each other away down separate paths.

Cory and Hillary reconnected in spring 2016. Cory was at eegees with his good bro Chris, eating meatball sandwhiches, when Chris made it known that Hillary was single and ready to mingle again. Cory thought to himself: "ohhh ya, time to get - it - on! so he texted hillary and said: "hey". Hillary responded back with a: "hey".. and the rest was history.

As time went on, their love for one another strengthened and connection deepened. Through many ups and downs, together they (along with their fur-child, Cora) have learned the true power of partnership and look forward to kicking lifes ass alongside one another.
