Our story began the day after Christmas when a swipe on Hinge turned into something more than just a match. Little did we know, that single moment would lead to our first meeting on January 5th, a date that would forever change our lives.

After our first date, it didn’t take long for us to realize this was something special. Just a few weeks later, Hinge was history, and by the end of January, we were officially together.

Somewhere amidst getting to know each other, sharing delicious meals, Ryan beating Himi in Monopoly, and long walks with the pup, Letti, we fell in love. Himi, a city girl from New York, unexpectedly found herself falling for both the slow pace of Nashville and the country boy who can yap her ear off about the Vols (Go Rocky Top!).

April brought the first big family meeting—Himi met Ryan’s whole family, and though all of Himi's friends can attest to how much of a nervous wreck she was, the day was a success! Ryan meeting Himi’s family was a chaotic adventure filled with laughter and good food.

By July, we knew, without a doubt, that we were ready to commit to "forever."
