Is there transportation from the airport to the resort?
It takes approximately 50 minutes to reach the resort from the airport.
The resort offers private transport for $168 both from the airport to the resort AND from the resort to the airport. Up to 6 people per car for $168.
-The price for 1 person travelling alone is the same as for 6 people.
-The regular rate applies to children over 2 years old.
-This service is carried out in modern vehicles, with assistance upon arrival
-Includes a maximum of 1 suitcase per passenger and 1 piece of hand luggage.
-This service does not apply to Tulum Airport.
What airport do we fly to?
It's best to fly into Cancun International Airport. You can fly into Tulum International Airport but the roundtrip transportation is only offered with Cancun's airport.
Both airports are approximately 1 hour from the resort.
Do I need a visa?
No, US citizens do not need a visa to visit Mexico for stays of up to 180 days.
However, you will need a Mexican Tourist Card (FMM), which you get at the Mexican airport of entry.
When and where is the Nikkah?
Our Nikkah will be in the US, InshAllah. We are still finalizing the rest of the details and will share soon.
Is there a dress code?
We do not have a dress code for our shaadi - wear what you feel beautiful in!
There IS a dress code for A La Carte restaurants -Men may not wear shorts, sandals or sleeveless T-shirts.
Do I have to tip?
You are not required to tip, however, it is common for people to tip at all inclusive resorts (housekeeping, other staff members).
If you do want to, it is recommended to take smaller dollar bills over pesos - mix of 1's, 5's, and 10's.
