This love story started 52 years ago. They met for the first time at Hodna's cousin's house. Hodna saw a young man in blue jeans walking down a flight of stairs. She went to ask who this young man was and found out his name was Ernst. When Ernst found out Hodna was asking about him he kept going by to see her.

He asked her "Have you been asking about me?"

She said "no".

He didn't give up and kept going until she admitted she was interested.

Ernst wanted to take her out, but she said "go ask my dad for permission first". He went and asked and received her father's blessing as long as he brought her home before 9pm.

He brought her back by 7:30pm. Ernst says there was a pesky chaperone.

Ernst and Hodna's love story grew and they are now about to celebrate 50 years together!

Cette histoire d'amour a commencé il y a 52 ans. Ils se sont rencontrés pour la première fois chez le cousin de Hodna. Hodna a vu un jeune homme en jean bleu descendre un escalier. Elle est allée demander qui était ce jeune homme et a découvert qu'il s'appelait Ernst. Quand Ernst a découvert qu'Hodna posait des questions sur lui, il a continué à venir la voir.

Il lui a demandé "Poses-tu des questions sur moi?"

Elle a dit non".

Il n'a pas abandonné et a continué jusqu'à ce qu'elle admette qu'elle était intéressée.

Ernst voulait sortir avec elle, mais elle a dit "va d'abord demander la permission à mon père". Il est allé demander et a reçu la bénédiction de son père à condition qu'il la ramène à la maison avant 21 heures.

Il l'a ramenée vers 19h30. Ernst dit qu'il y avait une casse-pied, l'eternel chaperone.

L'histoire d'amour d'Ernst et Hodna s'est développée et ils sont sur le point de fêter leurs 50 ans ensemble!
