Our story started a while ago :) We met in 2014, at our friend Asher's birthday party. For years, we spent time together at youth group, like in this photo and we had HUGE crushes on each other.

Hogan had a huge crush on Quinn for years, but throughout high school, we stayed just friends while Hogan convinced herself she didn't like him anymore...like at this beginning-of-summer party in 2017

There were LOTS of Brown County trips, youth group events, and swing dancing nights throughout high school that we both went to. This photo is from Hogan's 17th birthday :)

At the end of 2019, Quinn had just broken up with another girl and Hogan invited him to this New Years Eve party. This was peak friendzone time – Hogan giving Quinn advice on his breakup – and right before we realized we maybe liked each other again

This picture is from a college ministry conference in Pittsburgh that we attended right before lockdown in 2020. We both realized...maybe there's something here that we want to pursue :) Hogan thought she was really slick when she fell asleep "accidentally" on Quinn's shoulder on the drive home

We decided to start dating approximately two weeks before Hogan left for Covenant, so we had to get some last minute photos done with Emelia, of course :)

We continued to talk throughout Covid lockdown for months and hang out outside (six feet apart, of course). He came to celebrate Hogan's high school graduation downtown and at her grad party :)

Lots of people at Covenant thought we were crazy because we had only been dating for two weeks before we started long distance, and maybe we were, but our trips back and forth were such sweet time!

Hogan got lots of opportunities through our three years of dating to show Quinn her home away from home and all its great coffee spots, Chattanooga!

Dating for one year!

Quinn has been able to come to Chattanooga for Fall Ball, Hogan's hall's premier event, every year :) This photo is from her sophomore year

Dating for two years!

We've gotten to spend lots of time with all of Quinn's immediate and extended family, as well as Hogan's. It's been sweet to feel more and more comfortable with each other's families, especially since we'll soon be actual family!

Junior year, Quinn was able to come on Hogan's spring break trip with all her friends and he got to know them even more :) We took lots of long walks around Santa Rosa, Florida to get coffee and ice cream and along the beach

This past May, Hogan had the chance to spend the month taking a class in New York City, and Quinn took his first flight to come visit her. We had so much fun hanging out with friends and exploring a big city and eating food and making memories in another city together :)

On our three year anniversary, we went out for a nice dinner, and afterwards, on a little walk, Quinn took Hogan to the place where they had their first date, Amelia's. Then he got down on one knee and proposed!
