When Should I RSVP?

We kindly request that all guests RSVP by June 1, 2026. To respond, please visit the RSVP section of our wedding website and enter your full name as it appears on your invitation. We look forward to celebrating with you!

Do You Have A Room Block?

Yes! We have a room block at the Amway Grand Plaza, where the Cocktail Hour, Reception, and After Party will be held. We also have rooms available at the JW Marriott and the Courtyard Grand Rapids Downtown. Please see the Accommodations section of our wedding website for more details. What is the Attire for the Welcome Party?

Attire for the evening calls for a Coastal Chic ensemble, where lakeside charm effortlessly merges with polished sophistication. Picture a palette of soothing neutrals, vibrant blues, and refreshing greens, all encapsulated in lightweight fabrics that dance with the evening breeze. Ladies can exude elegance in breezy summer dresses or linen pants paired with airy tops, while gentleman can mirror the laid-back yet refined vibe in polished shorts or trousers topped with a crisp button-down. Join us for a delightful celebration, where every detail has been curated to reflect the beauty of love amidst nature's embrace.

What is the Attire for the Wedding Day?

We suggest Black Tie Optional attire for the Wedding Day. We are honored to celebrate in the company of our guests, dressed for a truly unforgettable evening. For gentleman, we suggest a dark-colored tuxedo or suit, a light dress shirt, and a tie or bow tie. For ladies, we suggest a long evening gown or a midi or knee length cocktail dress. Think timeless and elegant. We look forward to celebrating with you in style!

Do I Have a Plus One?

We kindly ask that guests refer to their formal invitation to see if a plus one has been extended. If a plus one has been extended, their name will appear on your invitation. Thank you for understanding, as we have space limitations. We can’t wait to share this special day with you!

What Time Should I Arrive to the Ceremony?

We ask that guests arrive at 1:30 PM, as the ceremony will begin promptly at 2:00 PM. This will allow guests time to be seated comfortably before the ceremony begins.

Will Parking Be Available on the Wedding Day?

Yes! Parking is available at the ceremony in front of the Cathedral of Saint Andrew. At the reception, the Amway Grand Plaza Hotel offers valet and self-parking on-site.

Our Story

Our story started almost 8 years ago. We were both going into our senior year of high school, when our mutual friend, Gracie, introduced the two of us. Hogan quickly asked Meg on our first date: Dinner at our favorite sushi restaurant and a drive to the beach to watch the sunset.The rest is history!

About Our Venues

Ceremony 2:00 PMThe Cathedral of Saint Andrew has been a special place for both Hogan and Meg. Hogan attended Grand Rapids Catholic Central High School which resides next to the Cathedral. Meg received her Sacrament of Confirmation at St. Andrews. We knew this would be a meaningful place to begin our life together.

Amway Grand Plaza Hotel

Cocktail Hour, Reception, and After Party 4:00 PM to 12:00 AMHogan and Meg chose the Amway Grand Plaza Hotel due to its timeless elegance. Originally opened in 1913 as the Pantlind Hotel, its rich history and stunning architecture make it a Grand Rapids landmark. It also holds special meaning for the couple, as Hogan and Meg celebrated their engagement at the hotel with friends and family. Returning for their reception felt like the perfect way to continue their story.
