04/14/24From Holland’s Perspective -“It was my 23rd birthday and I wanted to go to the river to celebrate. When we got to the river, I saw that someone was already at our spot and I was a little disappointed. I remember Autumn saying “Avery Crane.” She then looked at me and said “You should go talk to him, he’s a good one.” Mom and her were always trying to set me up with people, so I said “well if he's so good, why don't you go talk to him?” As we walked closer to the river, Autumn got a phone call and left, so I turned to sit with my Mom and Dad, but they had also left. It was just Avery, his two dogs, and me. I knew they had left me there on purpose but I decided to say hi to him anyway. We started talking and, despite my efforts to not fall for him, it did not take long for me to know that Autumn was right, he was a good one. He felt different, but familiar at the same time. We talked on the river bank for about two hours and once my family and I left, I was disappointed that he didn't ask for my number. Autumn kept reassuring me that he would find a way and sure enough, he did. We went out on our first date the next weekend and ever since then, I have considered him the best birthday present from God.”From Avery’s Perspective -“It was a hot day in April so I decided to take my dogs and go get some ice. After I got ice, I decided to stop by the river really quick to let the dogs play. When I got up there, I heard a car pull up behind me and I was totally ticked. I thought “dang it, no one is ever up here.” I remember talking to Dennis, and recognizing Autumn from high school but then everyone but Holland disappeared. So, me and Holland started talking. Just as I was about to ask for her number, her family came back and wanted to leave. I was frantically trying to find her on social media to message her when she rolled down her window as they were leaving, and waved bye to me. That’s when I knew she liked me and I should go for it. I looked everywhere, but I couldn’t find her social media, so I called everyone I could think of. I remember telling them repeatedly “I screwed up. I screwed up. I didn’t get her number.” My sister then came up with the idea to message Autumn and ask for her number. I got her number and the rest is history from there.”

Danielle is Holland's older sister. She has always been Holland's number one supporter and role model. When it came to choosing her Matron of Honor, there was never any question that wouldn't be Danielle.

Hailey is Avery's older sister. Growing up just the two of them, Hailey has always been Avery's best friend and his go-to for advice. The two share countless stories and memories from their childhood that Avery will cherish forever.

Autumn is Holland's little sister and rock. Autumn is always there for Holland and knows exactly how to calm her down in times when she needs her. The two enjoy shopping together and always know how to make each other laugh.

Holland's baby brother, Sawyer, has always been very protective of her. He is someone who's shoulder she can always count on to be there because she knows he always has her back.

Nathan is Holland and Avery's brother in law. Nathan has been like an old friend to Avery since coming into the family and Avery feels honored to have Nathan by his side on his wedding day.

Ben is Avery and Holland's brother in law. Since coming into the family, Ben has been a solid supporter and friend to Avery. Avery feels so lucky to have Ben in his life and by his side on his wedding day.

Erin is not only Holland's cousin, but her one of her best friends. Whenever Holland needs advice, Erin's number is on speed dial and she feels so blessed to call Erin family, but also her friend.

Hannah is Holland's childhood friend. She has been by Holland's side through the trials of both middle and high school, and countless other adventures. The two share many core memories that Holland will remember forever.
