Riley and Holli were always at the same events growing up, but somehow never managed to meet. During Covid, we found each other on social media and started talking. One of Holli's best friends decided to take her driving around one night and we made our way over to Redfield and decided to go pick Riley up and take him driving around with us. After that, Riley and Holli started hanging out and getting to know each other better. On June 28 of 2020, Riley asked Holli to be his girlfriend after a date at Thunder road. The rest is history! Now, here we are getting married five years later on our special day, June 28, 2025.

Riley and Holli love to be in the outdoors together. Dove hunting is something that they especially love to do together. One weekend early on in the relationship, Holli was in Frankfort with Riley. Riley and his dad Donavon wanted to go dove hunting so Holli tagged along. She wasn't very good at it, but she fell in love with not only dove hunting but doing it with Riley. Since then, it has been a yearly tradition.


Holli came home from school for dove opener 2023, but Riley had something special planned. We didn't have great spots to hunt, but we went anyway. Riley patiently waited for the perfect opportunity. He went to pick up a bird his dad shot, and when he came back he had more than just the bird. He had a ring and a very important question to ask. Holli without hesitation said yes!
