Our love story began during an unexpected season at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020. We were both part of the Rooted Youth Group at San Andreas Community Covenant Church, where God brought us together on October 31, 2020. What began as a friendship slowly grew into something deeper as we felt God working in our hearts.On February 7, 2021, at just 15 and 16 years old, we began dating. From that day forward, we grew up together, learning what it meant to build a relationship centered on faith. Many of our earliest memories were made on Monday nights at church, a place where we felt safe to grow closer to one another and closer to Christ. While there were challenges along the way, each season strengthened our bond and helped shape us into who we are today.We are especially grateful for our Youth Pastor, Alex, who encouraged us, prayed over us, and guided us with wisdom and love. Her support played a meaningful role in helping us keep Christ at the center of our relationship.By December 2021, we were already talking about marriage, trusting God with dreams that felt far away at the time and still feel incredible today. Through countless prayers and thousands of “I love yous,” God continued to lead us forward.In May 2025, we took a major step and moved in together. As we built our careers and searched for a place to call home, we realized God was preparing us not just for a house, but for a life together rooted in faith and commitment.On August 2, 2025, during a quiet weekend getaway in Monterey, California, Gabe proposed on a secluded beach. In a moment that reflected our shared hearts and certainty, Hollie had also brought a ring and proposed in return. It was clear to both of us that God’s timing was perfect.Now, on August 15, 2026, we prepare to stand before God, our families, and our friends to say “I do.” We are thankful for the journey that brought us here and for the faith that continues to guide us.We look forward to a lifetime of growing together in love, faith, and grace.

Is there a dress code?

We do not have a strict dress code. We ask that you wear your Sunday best! Wear what you want and what makes you feel the best! The only thing we ask is that ladies do not wear plain white, cream, or light gray dresses.
