Our Story
First met in the fall of 2008

With Tom being an over the road trucker driver, our relationship has consisted of a lot of video chats and lengthy conversations.&#160; We talk about anything and everything - even the hard stuff!&#160; We have always known each other pretty well, but getting to know each other on a deeper level has made us best friends.&#160; 
 
When he makes it home, we enjoy cooking together, doing projects around the house, and watching movies. We enjoy working puzzles,&#160; hanging out with friends, shooting pool (he is way better than me!), and even fishing! 
 
It may have taken us awhile to find each other, but we do say God's divine intervention gets the credit for our relationship.&#160; It all started at the Amvets.....&#128156;

The&nbsp;sweetest&nbsp;proposal&nbsp;and&nbsp;Taylor&nbsp;was&nbsp;in&nbsp;on&nbsp;it.&nbsp;&nbsp;Tom&nbsp;took&nbsp;Taylor&nbsp;out&nbsp;to&nbsp;lunch&nbsp;and&nbsp;ring&nbsp;shopping.&nbsp;&nbsp;I&nbsp;knew&nbsp;he&nbsp;was&nbsp;shopping&nbsp;for&nbsp;the&nbsp;ring&nbsp;but&nbsp;didn't&nbsp;know&nbsp;when&nbsp;the&nbsp;proposal&nbsp;would&nbsp;actually&nbsp;take&nbsp;place.&nbsp;Tom&nbsp;proposed&nbsp;at&nbsp;the&nbsp;Amvets&nbsp;with&nbsp;Taylor&nbsp;and&nbsp;our&nbsp;friends&nbsp;as&nbsp;witnesses.&nbsp; "Hollie,&nbsp;this&nbsp;has&nbsp;been&nbsp;15&nbsp;years&nbsp;in&nbsp;the&nbsp;making.&nbsp;You&nbsp;are&nbsp;my&nbsp;best&nbsp;friend.&nbsp;Would&nbsp;you&nbsp;do&nbsp;me&nbsp;the&nbsp;honor&nbsp;and&nbsp;become&nbsp;my&nbsp;wife?&nbsp;Will&nbsp;you&nbsp;marry&nbsp;me?" Of&nbsp;course,&nbsp;I&nbsp;said&nbsp;yes!&nbsp;-&nbsp;No&nbsp;hesitation&nbsp;what&nbsp;so&nbsp;ever! I&nbsp;later&nbsp;found&nbsp;out&nbsp;that&nbsp;Tom&nbsp;was&nbsp;actually&nbsp;going&nbsp;to&nbsp;play&nbsp;our&nbsp;song&nbsp;and&nbsp;then&nbsp;ask&nbsp;me&nbsp;to&nbsp;marry&nbsp;him&nbsp;in&nbsp;front&nbsp;of&nbsp;everyone.&nbsp;The&nbsp;band&nbsp;didn't&nbsp;know&nbsp;our&nbsp;song&nbsp;that&nbsp;night.

Wouldn't be able to get married without having my daughter stand by my side. She will always be the first love of my life!  She's been my ride or die for 24 years and counting, and we have had our fair share of ups and downs. Taylor and Tom share an interest in wrestling and she has gotten him on a few jokes.  Taylor has also been rocking the nursing school and will be graduating the day after the wedding!💜

A friend for what seems like forever! So many similarities with our lives yet different at the same time! Wouldn't want to get married without her! Erin is an awesome friend and we definitely take turns being each other's therapists!💜

Love these Goddaughters of mine!  Dulcie will be 11 this year and loves cheerleading and spicy food.  Caragh is 6 years old and will be in first grade when it is wedding time.  Never a dull moment with them and can't wait to have them stand with us during the wedding!  I can't wait to see them all dressed up in my favorite color!💜

Joe is one of Tom's best friends from work. He is one of the best guys one could ever meet. Always there to listen and help if he can. Tom and Joe are both truck drivers; therefore, you can imagine some of the conversations they have! Joe did not hesitate to stand up for Tom on our wedding day.💜

Oh Larry - one of the funniest people ever and another guy who will always lend a hand!  Larry is also a truck driver so there are plenty of stories between him and Tom to share from their experiences.  Larry and I share the same birthday and get asked if we are brother and sister.  We are not, bit bicker like we are!  Oh,....and don't mess with him when Ohio State football is on!  OH....IO....💜

One of the daycare kids that I have had since he was about seven months old. He loves dinosaurs and Hot Wheels cars, and has a new love for Tball.  We cannot wait to see him all dressed up for the wedding in cowboy attire!💜

Ethan

Another daycare kid that we had to have in the wedding! He plays baseball, and he always wants to negotiate something when he's in trouble! Haha. We can't wait to see him all dressed up, too!💜

Viktor

The most important role of the day will be done by Trevor.  I asked him to walk me down the aisle because I wanted to include him on our special day. He was one of my first kids that came to daycare and now he's 15 and way taller than me! I told him that I trusted him not to let me fall! I was told when he found out I was asking him to walk me down the aisle that his response was priceless! 💜

Trevor 

Sam volunteered to officiate our wedding from day one. I can't think of a more suitable person for this role. Honestly, if our ceremony doesn't have laughter and tears, I will be surprised.  Side note  - Sam has helped with some planning of the wedding and got my butt in gear with putting together centerpieces and ordering invitations.  💜
