Once Upon A Time...

After graduating high school, the two supported each other throughout their college years while they both continued to pursue music. Holly went to Haydn's jazz band concerts, and Haydn attended the football games to watch Holly perform in the Goin' Band.

Haydn and Holly have set many goals for their marriage. The most important being to follow The Lord and grow closer to one another. They wish to serve each other each and everyday, being constant reminder to each other of God's eternal love. After their wedding, Holly and Haydn plan to remain in Lubbock with their dog, Luna, and live happily ever after.

Pastor Steve is the Head Pastor at Indiana Ave Baptist Church. Holly grew up at this church and was even baptized by Pastor Steve. She always envisioned him officiating her wedding one day. Haydn and Holly have been attending IABC together since 2019 and plan to continue their involvement throughout their marriage.

Holly and Claudia met in seventh grade and quickly grew to become best friends in high school. Claudia introduced Holly to Haydn.

Claire is Holly's Big Sis in their band sorority, Tau Beta Sigma. After meeting, they quickly bonded over their love for God, Disney, and One Direction.

Madaline is Holly's Little Sis in their band sorority, Tau Beta Sigma. They have continued to support each other throughout college. Holly's fondest memory of them is getting to march pregame next to each other during the 2021 Goin' Band season!

Brenna and Holly met in the Texas Tech Goin’ Band and became sisters of Tau Beta Sigma the same year. Even though Brenna is also from Lubbock, she was Holly’s first college friend!

Holly & Macey met while working in the Indiana Ave Baptist Church Children's Ministry. They quickly connected over their cheesy humor & Disney references. Each time they see each other, they pick up right where they left off.

Reilly is Holly's Grand-Little Sis in their band sorority, Tau Beta Sigma. They quickly bonded over their obsession with all things Disney. Some of the best memories they share is traveling to their sorority's district convention together and getting to see each other while Holly was a cast member at Disney World!

Rhett and Haydn met Junior year of high school and became really good friends. It wasn't until college that they started to hang out more in the form of trips to the lake house or whacking golf balls in the rough.

Evan Young and Haydn met each other in high school but didn't hang out much until Haydn moved into the house right behind his. Then their friendship really began with trips to the tennis courts or just cooking burgers and hanging out.

Jake is Haydn's oldest friend. They met each other their Freshmen year of high school when Haydn lived in Georgia and they found out they lived across the street from each other. Whether it was watching Step Brother, playing call of duty ghosts on the PS3, or just drinking sweet tea and hanging out they always had a blast.

Clay is Haydn's little brother by two years. They bond these days over talking about their childhoods that no one can truly visualize but each other. Clay is one of the few people that can speak "Haydn" and understand what he is talking about when he makes vague comparisons or stutters through a sentence.

Jaxon met Haydn in college and had the same major as him. They originally bonded over getting homework assignments done together so that neither of them had to ever do all their work themselves. Now Jaxon and Haydn  go out to lunch together and talk about God or girls or the Jeep Jaxon has been "about to get" for 5 years now.

Aaron Cowan is the most recent friend Haydn has made within all of he Groomsman. Aaron and Haydn share the same crappy tastes in music so they are constantly sending each other more and more "underground" bands. They also will play disc golf after work when it's not too hot and most of all try and convince each other that their most recent mediocre beer is actually really good.

This would be a great way to spend your morning on the day of the wedding in Lubbock! This farmers market is located near the wedding venue and is open every Saturday from 10am-2pm.

Buddy Holly was born and raised in Lubbock, TX. This is a great opportunity for non-locals to learn a little more history about the place Haydn and Holly call home, and to learn a bit about one of Holly's favorite music artists!

Check out where Holly works! This is Lubbock's local children's museum! It is a fun place for children and teens to explore! If you aren't traveling with children, you might consider trying to catch a movie in the museum's OMNI theater. A list of movie options and showings are available on the Science Spectrum's website!
