To all of those that think dating apps do not work, we're here to give you some faith that they do! We matched in January of 2023. Of course, Holly made the first move. ;) Chase was actually going on to the app to delete it and saw Holly's message. Perfect timing! We had our first date at Vincent's in Metairie. Already Chase was making a great impression on Holly because he was willing to drive to New Orleans for the first date. Point number one in Chase's favor! We spent the whole date talking, and the workers started vacuuming around our feet before we knew it. We literally shut the restaurant down. We take turns driving back and forth from New Orleans and Baton Rouge and continued our commitment to one another. One year later, we celebrated our one-year anniversary at the same exact restaurant and table. We plan to keep it a yearly tradition at Vincent's and hopefully bring our future children there someday.

Shortly after our one-year anniversary, Chase proposed in his backyard before going to Easter Mass. At least that was the story. (Holly's investigative skills kept figuring out all of Chase's plans.) We were taking pictures before going to mass and Honey ran out with the ring attached to her collar. Chase couldn't even get his speech out before Holly started screaming yes!

We can't wait to begin our lives together and are excited to spend this time with all of our loved ones.
