Our Wedding

We both graduated from the University of Connecticut in 2017. We had heard of each other and seen the other perform presentations, but never actually got to know one another.&nbsp;Following graduation, both of us began working at BL Companies in Meriden, CT. Dennis worked on the traffic engineering team and Holly on the land development engineering team. There was a great group of young professionals that enjoyed after-work activities together: trivia, happy hours, baseball games...basically anywhere that served alcohol! We were usually the ones organizing the friend group to go to these events, and as others in the friend group peeled off because their life became too busy, only the two of us were able to go to some of these events. After a few times of&nbsp;just the two of us, Holly turned to Dennis and said, "Is this a date?" Almost four years later, Dennis popped the question and here we are! We have a lovely home and beautiful life in Rocky Hill, CT, both still working for BL Companies and sharing our love for engineering. We are so happy you can join us and celebrate our marriage!

Mini-moon

Holly has received advice from many of her friends that booking a big honeymoon immediately after the wedding can be a waste if you need the first few days to just decompress after all of the wedding festivities. So we are going on a "mini-moon" immediately following our wedding to the Mansion at Ocean Edge in Brewster, MA to unwind and kick off our marriage.

Honeymoon

In October 2024, we will be embarking on our "real" honeymoon in Europe. We will be taking a Viking River Cruise from Budapest, Hungary to Passau, Germany along the Danube River.

We have reserved 20 rooms and will be providing transportation to and from the wedding venue. The bus will leave the hotel at 4:25 p.m. and check-in is 3:00 p.m. The hotel cannot guarantee that rooms will be available earlier than 3:00 p.m. Please use the link below to make a reservation for the Linder-Gehring wedding block, or call (860) 635-1001. We have only blocked off rooms for 4/19-4/20, so if you would like to book additional nights, please book them directly through the hotel.

We have reserved 25 rooms and will be providing transportation to and from the wedding venue. SpringHill Suites by Marriott Hartford Cromwell

We will be providing shuttle bus service between the wedding venue and the two hotels that we have reserved blocks: Courtyard Marriott and SpringHill Suites. Even if you were unable to take advantage of either hotel block, we will have enough room for you on the bus if you are staying at either of those hotels. Please indicate if you would like the shuttle bus service when you RSVP.
