We first met in 2017 when I ( Holly) went to a young adults group at Crossroads Church, called Insight. Tyler was the greeter at the door that night. He said hi and we went on our way. I didn't know that Tyler was away at college at the time and that was why I only saw him at Insight on holidays. What I didn't realize then was that Tyler had already developed feelings for me since the first day he saw me.

COVID changed everything in 2020 including stopping Insight for awhile . When Insight did start back in fall 2020, Tyler had already graduated college and moved back to the area. He was always so kind to me and would go out of his way to speak to me and give me compliments at church. I started dance that fall and figured I'd never see him again. I didn't have his number or know how to contact him.

Fast forward to March 2022 and he sent me a FB friends request. Now anyone who knows me knows I don't do social media very much and rarely ever accept random FB friends request. I remembered Tyler from Insight so I accepted his request. Well what I did next really set the ball in motion for this love story.

I messaged him not knowing if he'd remember me at all and invited him to come out to eat with the group the following Sunday for lunch. He said he did remember me and looked forward to hanging out with the group.

Sunday comes and I head to Jim N' Nick's for lunch. I'm expecting the rest of the group to be there but no one is there except Tyler. Now the group did not know I had invited Tyler so it was by random chance no one else came. We decided to eat there anyway and spent the next 2 hours just talking and catching up.( We call this our 1st unofficial date). I started falling for Tyler then. We finally said our goodbyes and exchanged phone numbers.

A couple weeks later, Tyler invites me out to a movie with some of his friends and says I could invite some of my friends too. Well everyone happened to be unavailable that evening so I went by myself. Come to find out, Tyler's friends were unavailable too so it was just us once again ( our 2nd unofficial date)! We had a great time and enjoyed the movie.

A week later Tyler, texted and said he'd like to ask me out on a official date for coffee. ☕ I gladly accepted. What neither of us realized was the day of our date was the day his family was planning his surprise 30th birthday party! We almost ruined the surprise but we did finally get to go on our date which was wonderful.

I had my dance recital at the end of May and Tyler showed up and surprised me with a dozen red roses!! 🌹 My friends that evening were like, "Holly, I think Tyler likes you! Like a lot!" They were right! 🩰

We officially started dating in June of 2022. Tyler wrote me a love letter and asked me to check yes or no if I'd be his girlfriend. I checked yes!!! 💕

Tyler saw me though alot in those first few months of dating. From a sever car accident to sicknesses, Tyler was by my side though it all. 💜

As the months of dating progressed, we enjoyed trips with friends and spending time with each other's families. All the while we were both falling more in love with each other.

April 2023 Tyler got down on one knee and proposed to me!! 💍 He read me a beautiful love letter he'd written while I stood in a sea of beautiful lilies!!( My favorite flower!!). I said Yes!! And the rest is history! 💕 💒

It's been a lovely journey planning our wedding and our future together. We can't wait to see where God takes us 💜.
