This story is not one of love at first sight, but rather one of friendship, patience, and God's faithfulness. Holly and Lucas' friendship began when they were placed in the same chapel band, where they quickly bonded over their love for The Beatles and passion for music.

After a year of friendship, Holly and Lucas found themselves in a class on the theology of worship. Here, they developed a deeper appreciation for the other's desire to love the Lord, His people, and His creation. A week after their first date on Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Lucas asked Holly to be his girlfriend.

A year of coffee dates, analyzing music way too deeply, and growing closer to God and one another led Lucas to ask Holly to marry him on February 6th, 2024.

In this next chapter, they are excited to continue growing, worshipping, and doing the mundane tasks of life together.
