It's no secret Holly and Nate both share a love for beer, which is probably why they both ended up at the Armada Fair beer tent August 16th of 2021.

It was a Monday night and Holly promised herself she wasn't going to go to the fair, especially the beer tent. She convinced herself she HAD to go though because her favorite country artist, Dylan Scott, was playing at the fair that night. Holly crawled out of bed, (yes, she was already in bed) threw some clothes on, and went on up to the beer tent with some of her girlfriends.

Nate, unlike Holly, had full intentions of going to the beer tent and Dylan Scott concert that night with some friends. Little did Nate know, he would never actually see a single minute of the concert.

Holly and Nate were both enjoying themselves with friends when Holly caught Nate's eye. He couldn't keep his eyes off her gorgeous smile and her horrible dance moves. With some liquid courage Nate finally introduced himself to Holly and tried to get her number. After some conversation and a little bit of convincing, Holly happily gave her number to Nate. Holly went on with her night and enjoyed some of the concert, but had to go back to the beer tent to try and find Nate again to have ONE more conversation. Nate sadly missed the entire concert because he didn't want to leave the beer tent in case Holly came back. Unfortunately, neither of them saw one another again that night and they never expected to hear from each other again.

It wasn't until the following afternoon that Holly received a text from Nate saying how nice it was to meet her and that he would love to take her on a date. Holly was over the moon when she received that text from Nate and even more excited he wanted to take her on a date! Holly and Nate went on their first date on August 19th of 2021 to the Oxford Tap.

Once they started chatting, they quickly realized they both shared a love for Michigan Football (GO BLUE!), craft beer, all things food, and traveling. Holly and Nate not only became best friends, but they also fell in love with one another. It was a match made in heaven, or the beer tent.

Holly moved in with Nate in December of 2021 where they shared their first home in North Branch with their "kids" Ruger, Frank and eventually Corndog. Holly and Nate both wanted to be closer to their families so the hunt for a house closer to home was on. Due to the housing market, it took quite some time to find a home in the location they wanted.

On September 29th of 2023 Holly and Nate closed on their new home in Berlin! This was such an exciting day for the both of them and Holly thought that day couldn't get any better, but it did. Nate proposed to Holly that evening at their new home and even though there was a giant spider crawling WAY too close to her, she still said YES!!

Holly and Nate couldn't be happier that they found each other and get to share their love for each other every single day.
