What is the Dress Code?
The dress code will be semi-formal! For the ladies, this would be a nice short dress or slightly more casual long dress (think of Sunday church service or a nicer brunch with the girls;). For the gentlemen, this could be a nice polo or button up shirt with slacks or khaki pants, paired with some dress shoes or nice sneakers. We want everyone to feel comfortable during the celebration, so keep in mind that it may reach temperatures of around 90-95 degrees and to dress accordingly. When it come to colors, the sky is the limit, we just kindly ask that you refrain from wearing whites or creams in order to allow the bride to shine on her special day.
Are children welcome?
While we have a soft spot for the little ones, we kindly ask that, unless otherwise spoken to by the bride or groom, that you please refrain from bringing children. We will indicate on invitations specific guests invited as a means to prevent confusion as well.
Am I allowed to bring a guest?
We have indicated the allowance of a guest on the invitations as well as your RSVP on the website, however we ask that you are responsible for your date's behavior for the entirety of our wedding. We whole heartedly believe in the more the merrier, but please refrain from bringing a guest that is not a close friend or significant other (our wedding is, respectfully, not a first date spot;). If your invitation does not indicate that a guest is included, please only bring the individuals named on said invitation, or feel free to ask the bride or groom!
Am I allowed to take and post pictures?
We will have an incredible team of photographers and videographers capturing our day for us, so we ask that during the ceremony, technology of any kind be put away. We would love for everyone to be present and enjoy this moment in our lives distraction free, but following the ceremony, during cocktail hour and the reception, you are more than welcome to take and post any pictures you'd like. We can't wait to celebrate with you all!
What time should I arrive?
The ceremony will be starting at 4 o'clock PM sharp, with a cocktail hour to follow. Please arrive no later than 3:45 PM in order to allow time to get situated in the ceremony spaces before it begins. The doors will be shut upon starting, so late guests will regrettably not be allowed in. The ceremony will last about 30 minutes, hors-d'oeuvres and drink will be provided at the cocktail hour to follow, and dinner will begin at 6:30 PM.
What if I am traveling from out of town/state?
We have a designated Travel tab that you are welcome to visit that will help in finding a room to block, but you are more than welcome to address flights and stay on your own as well.
What color are the bridesmaids wearing?
The bridesmaids are going to be the bride's "something blue", so they will all be in light blue. If guests could allow the bridal party to be the only ones in this color, the bride and groom would be most appreciative.
Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?
The ceremony and reception will both be indoors with air-conditioning, however the cocktail hour will be in the outdoor courtyard area between the ceremony and reception buildings.
How will seating work?
For the ceremony, guests of the bride will be on the right side, and guests of the groom will be on the left in order for guests to be able to better see the individual they are there to more specifically celebrate. If you are friends with both, then feel free to sit wherever you'd like!
Throughout the cocktail hour and beginning of the reception time, guests will pick up their gift which indicates their name and which table they will be at for the reception. Kindly find the table that matches the number on your gift tag and sit at whatever seat you'd like.
Is there parking on site?
Yes! There will be parking on site with easy access to the venue.
Where should we bring/send our wedding gift to?
Your presence on our special day is the greatest gift of all, but if you wish to gift us something our registry tab is located at the top of our website. There will also be a cards box on the guest table upon entry to the venue for guests who wish to gift on the day of.
