Scott took me to the drive-in movies for our first date, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. The main feature was Guest House starring Pauly Shore—a favorite actor for both of us—and we laughed the whole way through. The second movie playing was Deadpool, adding just the right mix of humor and action to cap off a night that felt like the perfect beginning to something special.

In November, Scott took me to Chico, California, for the first time, and it felt so special to see where he grew up. I had the chance to meet his mom and dad, as well as his sister and her wonderful family. Scott made the trip unforgettable by taking me around town to show me all the best spots, including a visit to the beautiful Bidwell Mansion. It was a perfect mix of family, history, and love as he shared his world with me.

For my birthday, Scott surprised me with a spontaneous trip to Astoria, Oregon—a place we both always wanted to visit. We toured iconic spots like the Goonies house, Haystack Rock, and the local jail, where we even got to see the jeep parked out front. But what made this trip truly unforgettable was the chance to meet Scott’s older brother, Mark. It was a perfect mix of adventure, family, and love—a birthday I’ll never forget.

Scott and I embarked on an unforgettable road trip, driving halfway across the country to help his mom move to Illinois. Along the way, Scott met my sister Kaycee for the first time, which made the trip even more meaningful. Spending so much time together in a small space brought us closer than ever, strengthening our bond as a couple with every mile we traveled.

Scott proposed!! I said YES!! It was the most incredible day—one I’ll cherish forever. Even though the day ended with a monsoon, it couldn’t dampen the love and joy of that heartfelt proposal. In that moment, nothing else mattered except the promise of a lifetime together.
