Hi Holly here!

Michael and I met in college at Middle Tennessee State University back in 2016. I was in a sorority and he was in a fraternity causing us both to have mutual friend groups! We ended up spending a lot of time together and soon we became best friends. Michael obviously had the biggest crush on me and I was a little resistant at first. However, he was very persistent and I finally gave in. Fast forward a year and Michael took me on the most magical first date. Michael was in school to become a pilot, so on our first date he flew me in a small two seater plane to eat dinner at Lamberts Cafe in Sikeston, Missouri. It was a freezing cold December night (In a little plane with no heat) and thats when the sparks started flying. We ended our night at Cheesecake Factory (we're big foodies obviously) and thats where our official story began.

To this day we still dont have a official dating anniversary, but we have a new special one to celebrate. Michael became an airline pilot during the covid pandemic, so our leisure travel was slightly limited. However, we decided we wanted to start exploring national parks. Our first trip was to Zion National Park in 2020 and thats when we instantly fell in love with Utah. The red rocks... the peace and quiet of the canyons... it was just absolutely magical. So we visited 3 more parks before we made our way back to Utah in December of 2021. We finally had a few days to actually have a vacation (we were so used to just having a day trip here and there). On our last day of vacation, Michael proposed to me in Canyonlands National Park (right across from the visitor center, hehe). He waited all week to ask and he decided he was "tired of being a chicken sh*t" and that I was the one. Literally that is all he said during his proposal, I hope his vows are better than that! That is when our forever began.

A year later we decided that it was only right if we took our engagement pictures in the place that meant the most to us. So all of our engagement pictures are in the place where he asked me to marry him!

We have grown so much since our college days. We bought a house together August of 2021. Michael is an airline pilot for Delta Air lines and Im an ICU nurse. We recently just got a rambunctious golden doodle named Piper, who has completely stolen our hearts. Now, we are preparing for our wedding!

We can not wait to celebrate with each and every one of you come October!
