Is there any important information we should be aware of ahead of time?
Our venue does have a few rules that you need to be aware of...
- Wedding guests are not allowed to pet or feed horses, open gates, or enter any stalls.
- As this is a working horse facility, all children must be supervised at all times for their own safety and the safety of others.
- Absolutely NO mounting the horse sculpture or depositing anything into the fountain.
- No usage of fireworks or firearms.
- Confetti, glitter, or artificial flower petals are not allowed on the premises or inside the building.
- Our wedding guests are not allowed to enter any office space, or the stall barn without being accompanied by an employee.
- No swiming, fishing, or usage of boats in any ponds on the premises .
When and how do I RSVP?
Once you receive your formal invitation by mail, the option to RSVP will be located here on our wedding website. Your reply is requested by September 1st, 2024.
Can I bring guests/+1's not noted on my invitation?
Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally included on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one, they will appear under your name when you RSVP. Please ensure you RSVP for both yourself and your guest(s).
Where are the ceremony and the reception taking place?
Our wedding will have the same venue for the ceremony (outdoors, weather permitting) and a happy hour and reception (indoors), so you will not need to worry about transportation between sites except for a little walking. The address is
Fire Stables Equestrian
9100 Cedar Niles Road
Lenexa, KS, 66227
Is there parking available at the wedding venue?
Yes! There is indoor parking located inside the east arena. Signage will be posted to direct you to the right spot. If you participate in drinking, please plan accordingly as cars are not permitted in the arena after hours.
What is the dress code for your wedding?
We ask that you wear something dressy or semi-formal such as button-up shirts, flowy dresses, or whatever you feel confident but comfortable in. At the end of the day we just want you to look and feel your best so you are able to dance the night away!
Am I allowed to take photos at your ceremony?
We are so very lucky to have not only one amazingly talented photographer, but two! So get any selfies in before the ceremony starts and then please put your phone away and enjoy the moment with us. We are guaranteed to have these beautiful memories captured and will ensure you also have an opportunity to access the photos.
What happens after the ceremony?
After the ceremony, please join us for a group photo outside in front of the venue. Guests can then head straight into the reception hall, where we will be serving a few snacks and beverages during a coffee and cocktail hour. We will also have games and photo opportunities available during this time.
What type of food will be served at your wedding? Will there be meal options for guests with dietary restrictions or allergies?
A buffet with a selection of salad, chicken or beef, potatoes, and vegetables will be served. We did our best to select a meal to accommodate everyone but please be sure to share any dietary restrictions or allergies when you RSVP so we can plan accordingly.
Will there be an open bar?
We will have an open bar with a couple of signature cocktails and limited beer and wine selection. Wristbands will be provided for those over 21 so you will only need to show your ID once. Our bartenders would much appreciate tips, so have a few dollar bills handy if you are feeling generous. We’ve waited a really long time for this. Party accordingly!
