Our Wedding

It is not every day that one can say that they married their high school sweetheart; but, for us, that is our love story. We met in the hallways of Newfane High School. Hope was a freshman, quiet - except for around her close friends. Tanner was a junior, with the same outgoing personality he has always had. With nothing to do before homeroom besides walking the single square hallway that was Newfane High School, that is what Hope did with her friends every morning. Though Tanner did not always get to school early, one morning he did and decided to join Hope and her friend, who was his friend's little sister. We instantly connected and became friends. For two years our friendship grew, until on December 27th, 2016 it became something more. Throughout our time together in high school, to graduation and moving on to college and careers, our friendship and love for one another continued to grow. We had many dates, and adventures, and explored the world together. Eventually, once Hope graduated and Tanner was a few years into his career, we decided to move in together. We found an apartment in Lewiston and started building their life together. We quickly realized we wanted something more permanent, not just an apartment, but a place of our own. A place we could call home. On June 28, 2023, we got the keys to our new house and Tanner proposed. We planned our wedding for exactly two years later, in the exact spot where we got engaged - our home.
