<p>Hope and Matt grew up in East Brunswick, NJ and met in middle school. Middle school crushes are obviously VERY serious, so Hope and Matt showcased their love by trading the battery backs of their LG EnV flip phones (you know, the one that opened up sideways to a keyboard? The coolest one at that time). Although their puppy dog love in 2008 was short and sweet, their connection brought them back together in the summer of 2014 following their freshman year of college. While Hope and Matt were home for the season, they spent their time indulging in Krispy Kreme Donuts, off-roading in Matt's Jeep Wrangler, and wishing on shooting stars while star-gazing in a random field. Romantic, huh? However, life had different plans for them as summer concluded and they returned to their separate colleges. During this time, they pursued their degrees, began their careers, dated other people, and well... grew up (a little). Flash forward to the fall of 2021, Hope and Matt were single, living at home with their parents, and keeping an eye on each other through social media. Matt took his shot and messaged Hope on Instagram to respond to a "Berries and Cream" reference she made (shoutout to a 2007 Starburst commercial for connecting them one last time). Shortly after, they had their "first" date at Red Rock Tap + Grill in Red Bank and three months later Matt made it official by popping the girlfriend question. And exactly two years after that, he made it even more official by proposing in the same town where they had their last, first date in. So, third time's a charm, right? Three rounds later and now Hope, Matt, and their dog, Charlie, are ready to begin this next journey together and finally celebrate their love with YOU!</p>
