If you're traveling from out of state and want to make the most of your trip to Ohio, consider taking a day trip to Cedar Point! Only 30 minutes from the location of our wedding festivities and a fun-filled way to spend an extra day.

Just 15 minutes from the wedding festivities, Marblehead is the perfect little lakeside town to spend an afternoon in. There are lots of shops, restaurants, and a nice beach at the East Harbor State Park (1169 N Buck Rd). Be sure to stop by the Marblehead Lighthouse too!

If you want to enjoy your time at Lake Erie to the fullest, we highly recommend taking a trip on the Jet Express, a ferry that provides easy access to two of the lake’s most popular islands: Put-In-Bay and Kelleys Island. Whether you’re looking to explore the outdoors with activities like hiking, mini-golf, biking, beach relaxation, or parasailing, or simply unwind with a refreshing drink in hand, both islands offer a perfect getaway. With numerous bars and restaurants to enjoy, there's something for everyone. (Just a friendly reminder to bring a jacket – the ferry can be a bit chilly in the evenings during this time of year!)
