Our Wedding

Hope &amp; David’s story began in 1989, with the birth of the World Wide Web. A tool designed to provide knowledge and spread information would be used 32 years later for something much more powerful, AKA Hope &amp; David’s first of many dates. Hope:When David first asked me out, he asked if I would want to go on a hike and bring pumpkins that we could carve once we got to the top of the mountain. In my head I thought, “this stranger who I don’t know wants to take me to the middle of the woods with carving tools.” I told him no, OBVIOUSLY, but could tell the effort was there so decided to give an alternative (more public) first date idea. David:Hope said she liked hiking, and I said I liked pumpkins, so I figured what better way to merge our interests than to go hiking and carve pumpkins… long story short she thought I was a creep. She offered to go eat somewhere instead so I got there and as I waited for her to arrive; I saw a cute little flower on my right. Something told me, “Get it and give it to her,” and at that moment I knew I couldn’t mess that date up. Back to the Story:First dates mean nothing without a second date, so we strolled through downtown Carrolton sharing our favorite ice cream. In that moment, we saw a local brewery that offered a trivia night and realized that we each loved spontaneous additions to plans. What we didn’t know was that the trivia was Texas State Fair themed. We got dead last, but this allowed for more conversation and teamwork which led to sparks, laughter, and stories that would continue to be shared for many more months and years.&nbsp;

Val and I met freshman year of college but became really close friends our senior year when we became roommates and bonded over our shared major and love for Harry Potter.  Since then, our friendship has only gotten stronger and I am so blessed to have someone like Val walk with me through this exciting season!

Lyndsey was one of my best friends in middle/high school and is still one of my closest friends today. I am so grateful to have such a great long time friend like Lyndsey in my life! No matter what we do, we never fail to have a good time together and I always leave feeling full.

Charlotte Rose is that friend that you don’t see in years but then you pick right back up where you left off. Our parents were friends before we were born but as we’ve gotten older, we have become chosen family. So many of my best childhood memories have her in them and I’m so glad she can be a part of this one too.

Emma's and my paths were bound to cross in college as we were both involved in the same club and both love so many of the same things such as Harry Potter and traveling. She was an honorary roommate senior year and is one of my go to travel buddies for any trip.

Nick and David were roommates and best friends for many years. They created so many memories together and many of the recent ones were made on the golf course. If you get the opportunity to meet Nick you’ll realize he’s one of the kindest and most well rounded people you’ll ever have the pleasure of meeting.

Nick (The ‘Ron) Corona

Britton (AKA Britt) was David’s best friend from his Men’s Organization, Paradigm. Their friendship grew outside of the organization as they became roommates and shared many interests. Britt is one of the most caring individuals you’ll find and he’ll give you the shirt on his back if you asked him to (please don’t ask at the wedding…)!

Rolie started off as one of David’s tennis coaches. On the court Rolie didn’t just provide top of the line tennis instruction but also great life instruction. Rolie is a great mentor, leader and has played a big part in shaping who David is today. Rolie is now and has been one of David’s best friends and someone David will be forever grateful for.

Trey is one of the if not THE most loyal person you will ever meet. Trey and David met at A&M where they were in the same organization, same apartment complex and eventually same class… long story short God made sure their paths crossed. If you know anyone at all they probably know and love Trey, and for a great reason.
