Our love story begins by swiping right. Adam and I met on the dating app Plenty of Fish. From there we spent 3 months talking over text, call, and FaceTime due to the lovely Coronavirus Pandemic that would not allow us to meet right away. Our first date was at Texas Roadhouse. When we first saw each other, we knew this was going to be something special.

Within a year of dating, we decided that I would move to Grand Forks to be with Adam. In April of 2021, we moved into a town home in Grand Forks. We shared many great memories together there.

We even added a furry friend to our family. Ruger the German Shorthair Pointer bounced into our life July 29th of 2022.

We then decided it was time for a new adventure, Homeownership! October 20th, 2022, we moved into our new home in Harvey, ND. With all the moving and constant going it was then agreed upon that some relaxation and fun was in order!

July 14th, 2023, Adam and I along with his parents, his sister, and his brother-in-law all flew to Anchorage Alaska to board our week long cruise down the Alaskan coast. I would later find out how special this trip would be.

On July 17th, 2023 we were at sea on the ship seeing all the amazing glacial sites and celebrating my 26th birthday.

That evening after supper we decided to go to the back of the boat to watch the sunset.

It was in this moment that Adam got down on one knee and proposed. I obviously said YES! It felt as though the proposal was straight out of a fairytale.

We then fast forward to now. On July 20th, 2024, I will finally be able to call Adam my husband!
