Q + A

RSVP and Attendance

Where do I RSVP?

If you click on the "RSVP" tab, the RSVP process will begin. Once you fill out the requested information, we will receive a notification of your attendance. If you run into any issues, please let us know and we will troubleshoot the problem.

When do I need to RSVP by?

Please RSVP no later than April 15th.

What is the timeline of the weekend?

Please see the "Weekend Timeline" tab for the sequence of events for the whole weekend. Please note the requested times for arrival on each day. Should any adjustments be made, we will update the timeline accordingly, so please make sure to recheck periodically as the wedding nears.

Are children allowed at the wedding?

The wedding ceremony and reception will be adults only, with the only exception being children in the wedding party and immediate family members.

Can I bring a plus one?

If your invitation only included one named invitee, then you may bring a plus one. If your invitation named two invitees, then a plus one is not needed!

Dress Code and Weather

What is the dress code?

The dress code for the wedding ceremony and reception will be formal wear. For men, we request that you wear a suit and tie with closed toed shoes. For women, we request that you wear a cocktail dress or a nice pantsuit. The rest of the weekend will be casual wear.

Are there any "off-limits" colors?

We kindly request that attendees refrain from wearing any white or off-white dresses.

Will the ceremony/reception be outdoors?

The ceremony will be outdoors should weather permit. In the event that weather is adverse, the ceremony will be moved indoors. The reception will be indoors. Following the reception, guests may choose to stay indoors or join us on the dance floor outside.

What will the weather be like?

Although we cannot guarantee a rain-free wedding, we can guarantee that it will HOT. Average temperatures for June range from 82-88 degrees during the daytime and 65-70 degrees at nighttime. Accordingly, we will try to speed up the ceremony, but be warned, Nik is a talker. Should you please, bring an umbrella just incase the rain attends our wedding as well. We will provide cold bottles of water to stave off the heat and stay hydrated before cocktail hour.

Can I take pictures of the ceremony?

In order to allow everyone to enjoy our special moment, we kindly request that guests refrain from the use of their phones during the ceremony. Additionally, please do not post any photos of the bride prior to the ceremony to keep the moment special. We will have a professional photographer the entirety of the wedding day and will share all of the photos with everyone once we receive them.

Travel

Is there parking available near your wedding venue?

There is plenty of parking on the venue. For elderly attendees, there will be transportation services on the venue to take you to and from the different event locations.

Where is the wedding venue/reception?

The ceremony and reception will take place at Sandy Creek Farms, in Springville, TN. The address is as follows: 239 Poplar Grove Rd., Springville, TN 38256.

What is the nearest airport?

The nearest airport is the Nashville International Airport (BNA), and will require an approximately 2 hour drive to the venue. Alternatively, the next closest airport is the Memphis International Airport (MEM), and will require an approximately 2.5 hour drive to the venue.

Will a vehicle be required?

We highly recommend renting a vehicle should you choose to fly. The venue is located in a more rural area, and transportation services are very limited.
