You always hear stories of meeting the right person at the wrong time. For Hosea and Emily, that was exactly how their journey began. They first crossed paths in 2017 through mutual friends, but life took them in different directions, and they continued on separate paths in separate states. It wasn’t until they reconnected through social media in 2021 that everything clicked. They quickly realized the timing was finally right and that they may have met the right person long ago. Their social media reconnection came during a time when they were living across the country from each other. What started as a few Instagram messages soon turned into daily texts, phone calls, and eventually their first “date” over FaceTime. The spark was instant and that first video call flew by, with hours passing like minutes. It was the beginning of what would become a rhythm of daily conversations, filled with laughter, connection, and countless FaceTimes. After spending some time in a long distance relationship, Emily relocated back to Nashville to begin the next chapter of their story. She made the cross country journey with her young dog, Shay - a lovable companion known for being more than a little rambunctious. Over time, Shay became a cherished part of their lives and their bond, often “helping” in the kitchen and keeping things lively around the house. That spirited energy never truly faded, but it’s become part of what makes their little family whole.&nbsp; When they’re at home, Hosea and Emily have found joy in sharing their hobbies with one another. Hosea introduced Emily to all the Marvel movies, Lord of the Rings, and even a few hilariously bad childhood favorites. Emily got Hosea into books he might never have picked up on his own, and she revived the tradition of regular movie nights as their go-to date. They’ve learned to enjoy spending time side by side, whether that means reading, playing games, or discovering something new together.&nbsp; They love to travel whether it’s a quick day trip with their dog, Shay, or an adventure with friends across the country or even overseas. One of their first trips together was exploring Sedona and northern Arizona, where they kayaked along the North Rim of the Grand Canyon and wandered through the stunning landscapes of Antelope Canyon. That trip taught them a lot about each other, including the hard truth that Infiniti sedans aren’t ideal for off-roading on narrow, unpaved roads (even if the GPS insists otherwise). It was during that trip that Hosea knew he wanted to propose someday on one of those early hikes, as a way to honor the beginning of their journey as a couple and a team. Not far from Emily’s parents’ home, he later found the perfect place to continue that journey. Bell Rock, and the moment they shared there, will always hold a special place in their hearts. Hosea and Emily are so excited to share the next chapter of their story with you!
