Getting direct flights from your location will be easiest to LaGuardia Airport or JFK if you're coming from California. However, coming from these airports on a Friday can take several hours due to traffic. We recommend that you arrive Friday morning or the night before if you are coming from these airports.
There are smaller airports such as:
Westchester County Airport in White Plains, NY (~45 min drive)
Stewart International Airport in New Windsor, NY (~32 min drive)
These airports are closer, but smaller so may be more expensive and require layovers.
Where should I stay?
We have arranged a hotel block at The Thayer Hotel in West Point. The block is available until May 31st.
New York City will have plenty of hotels to choose from. You will also have access to all the entertainment the city has to offer. So staying in the the city is an excellent option, though more exepnsive.
There is a commuter train from Grand Central Station that can take you from Manhattan to the train station 5 minutes away from the venue. There are more details on the travel page of this website.
There are also local hotels and inns in the area that are beautiful and historic given their proximity to West Point Academy. These will also likely be cheaper options than those in New York City. You may want a rental car if you choose to stay locally. There will not be as many entertainment options near the wedding venue.
Can I bring children?
Please only bring the people that were specified in the invitation.
Is there parking available?
Yes there will be parking available at the venue.
Is the venue wheelchair accessible?
Yes, the venue is wheelchair accessible.
Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?
If the weather cooperates, the ceremony will be outdoors and the reception will be indoors.
If it rains, both the ceremony and reception will be indoors.
