Red's Ice House - the place where we met, the place we always go for a cold drink or to watch games. The atmosphere and views of Shem Creek are great. If you're looking for a good blackened grouper sandwich and a cold beer, this is the go-to place. Better yet, if you're in town wanting to catch a game on TV, this place is also a must-go!

This is our favorite coffee shop in the Charleston area! Part of our normal weekend routine always features coffee and breakfast from this special shop. Before our engagement, we were able to snag coffee here. It's a delicious coffee shop, and very special to both of us!

We have had several date nights at Jalisco. This restaurant in James Island has very authentic (delicious) Mexican food. They have phenomenal options on salsas, margaritas, and the BEST carne asada!

Hunter and I ventured to this Marina Store/Bar/Restaurant on the week of their Grand Opening. Since then, this has become a very popular hang-out spot in Charleston. If the weather is nice, and you're looking for a good place to grab a snack and a cold drink, this is top on our list. The restaurant and bar are within the Marina's store and the existing dock has been repurposed into a seating area with occasional live music. Their menu changes quite a bit, but we've had everything from soft shell crab tacos to hush puppies and it's always great!

This is our favorite sandwich shop in the area. My recommendation here would be to get it to go. From their Mt. Pleasant location, there are countless places to go and enjoy your sandwich/lunch. If we weren't grabbing "pub-subs", Hunter and I regularly took our Mozzo to nearby Sullivan's Island or IOP.

This place has gorgeous 360 views of the Charleston Harbor, downtown, and Sullivan's Island. It's a great place to take a walk, and was the special place where Josh asked Hunter to marry him.
