We can't help but truly believe that God orchestrated our paths crossing nearly 12 years after sharing the same 2nd grade class. On February 26th, 2022, we both attended a worship service at a local church. I (Jenae) recognized Hunter immediately and went over to him to start up a conversation. Though I do tend to be a bit more outgoing, I have no idea what came over me to walk right up to him and say hello after not speaking at all in that 12 year period. I had no idea if he'd recognize me or even what I was going to say once I gained his attention, but none the less, I went. We got to talking and later that night, he asked me out for dinner to catch up. Though both agreeing that we wanted to take things slow, it wasn't long before we knew it was all meant to be. On May 21st, 2023, Hunter got down on one knee at Sunset Beach in Cape May, NJ. It was magical and everything I'd ever hoped it would be. Hunter and I are so excited to begin this next chapter of our lives together and can't wait to celebrate with everyone we love!
