Our wedding will take place in a scenic lakeside preserve, surrounded by nature and open skies. We are planning an outdoor ceremony with an outdoor reception to follow, weather permitting. Guests should expect a celebration that embraces the beauty of Northern Michigan and the natural landscape of the venue. The ceremony will begin at 5:30 PM, followed by cocktails and light appetizers as we transition into the evening. Dinner will be served around 6:30 PM, with drinks, conversation, and celebration continuing under the late-summer sky. Dress Code: Semi-Formal Garden Chic We invite guests to dress up while keeping the outdoor, lakeside setting in mind. Think romantic, polished attire—cocktail dressy; suits or dress shirts with slacks. As the event will take place on natural terrain, we recommend comfortable, outdoor-friendly footwear.
