Hunter and Mikayla met in October of 2017 at Pulaski High School, where a friendship quickly grew into something more. By November, they were officially dating and learning what love looked like at a young age. After a year together, life took them on different paths, and they went their separate ways on Christmas.

Time apart gave them both space to grow, and in October of 2019, they found their way back to each other. This time, everything felt different—more certain, more intentional, and stronger than before. What began again as a reconnection quickly became a lifelong commitment.

In February of 2024, Hunter proposed in a moment that perfectly captured their relationship—simple, heartfelt, and completely unexpected. Mikayla was still in her pajamas and had no idea it was coming, but she said yes without hesitation.

By November of 2024, they took another big step and bought their first home together. Today, they share their home with their cat Chico and their newly adopted second cat, Paco, and are excited to continue building a life side by side.

From high school hallways to second chances and forever, Hunter and Mikayla are so grateful for the journey that brought them here and can’t wait to celebrate this next chapter with the people they love most.
