Q + A

Do I have to go to Friday & Saturday?

Friday is completely optional and will just consist of chatting around the campfire and catching up with friends and family. You are welcome to arrive anytime past 3:00 PM on Friday. You are also welcome to sleepover on both Friday night and Saturday night, if you choose. Just make sure you let us know if you are sleeping over on the RSVP.

What is the dress code?

You are welcome to wear whatever you want on Friday and during the day on Saturday. If you plan on swimming between 11AM and 4PM on Saturday, we recommend that you bring a swimsuit and a couple changes of clothes. During the ceremony, dinner, and dancing the dress code will be casual - at a minimum, we recommend shorts and a t-shirt and at maximum sun dresses and button-down shirts. We also recommend packing a change of warmer clothes in case it gets chilly in the evening.

I am sleeping over. Will bedding be provided?

Bunks will be assigned at 'Camp Check-In.' Bedding will not be provided. You are welcome to bring a fitted sheet and bedding that would fit a twin bed or a sleeping bag and a pillow. There is a Walmart and several other stores within 5 miles of camp that sells reasonably priced bedding sets. If you are flying in, you can order a set of bedding or a sleeping bag and pillow to camp prior to arriving. If you send the bedding ahead, we will make sure your bedding is in your cabin prior to your arrival. You are welcome to take that bedding home or donate it to camp after the wedding. If ordering bedding, please ship packages to arrive no earlier than Aug. 30th. Packages can be sent to: Camp Minikani (ATTN: Stastney/Graff Wedding, Your Name) 875 Amy Belle Rd. Hubertus, WI 53033

Are there bathrooms in the cabins?

No, but there is a shared bathroom space in the middle of each unit.

Can I bring my kids?

Absolutely! If you are planning on sleeping over with your kiddos, please let us know if you'd like a cabin to yourself and/or a cabin in a quieter area.

I am gluten free, vegan or have some other food restriction/allergy. Can you accommodate?

Yes. We will collect this information on our RSVP and let our caterer know.

What should i bring for my stay at camp?

A few changes of clothes (for both a hot day and a cool night), a swimsuit, a towel, bedding/sleeping bag, a pillow, shoes you can run in, sunscreen, bug spray and toiletries.

I am flying in to Milwaukee. How do I get to camp?

The easiest way would be to rent a car and drive or Uber/Lyft to Camp Minikani. Camp is a 40 minute drive from the airport.

What is the bar situation?

We will have coolers with drinks (beer, soda, water, etc.) and wine available around camp throughout the day. We will also have bartenders serving mixed drinks during the dinner and dancing.

I don't want to sleep at camp. What should I do?

There are plenty of hotels within a short drive of camp.

What is the swimming situation?

Weather permitting - you will be able to swim and boat on Saturday. You can keep a change of clothes (or four) in your cabin. There will be lifeguards on duty.

I am so excited to swim! Will there be showers available at camp?

Yes, there are communal showers in the units where we will be sleeping. There are private showers available, as well.

Can I bring my dog?

Sure. If they are well behaved and play well with kids and other dogs, you are welcome to bring them.

If I'm staying overnight on Saturday, when should I leave on Sunday?

We will have a light breakfast on Sunday morning that you are welcome to stay for; otherwise, you can leave at any time.
